The Awards are sponsored by Prometheus Publishing in coordination with the Rothman Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Who is a PSEA Nominee?
* The modern day Promethean is, above all, a contributor. He responds to human need with compassionate action. She envisions improvement and, with an entrepreneurial spirit, initiates an enterprise that brings it about.
* The enterprise founded by the candidate may be non-profit or for-profit; it need not be registered or officially recognized by any government authority, but it must actively strive to better our society and planet.
* Candidates may come from all corners of the globe. Preference is given to “unsung” candidates whose efforts are not frequently in the public eye.
* There is not one winner, nor set number of honorees. The judges panel select those who are best aligned with our mission.
Honorees will present their Torchbearer Talks and receive their Awards in Fall, 2021 – Date and time TBA

This years PSEA Ceremony, though held online, was a powerful evening filled with hope, joy, humor, and the honoring of 2020’s magnificent seven social entrepreneurs:
Andrea Bartoli, Bruce Boyd, Laura Doherty, Key Han, Roland Schatz, John Thompson and Kendrick Kemp.
The Awards were presented by Bart Jackson, Lorraine Jackson, and by the witty, entrepreneurial expert, Dale Caldwell, Rothman Institute’s Executive Director.
